Founder and Editor in Chief: Carolyn Hashimoto


Carolyn is a writer, poet and visual artist based in Scotland. Her debut poetry collection Cow was released earlier this year with Osmosis Press, and her pamphlet The Chips are Down Here in Lockdown was published by OrangeApple Press in 2021. Other work has been published in Gutter, 3:AM magazine, -algia, BlueHouse Journal and perverse. She recently completed a Masters Degree in Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow, and was chosen as one of five emerging writers in the Dumfries based Multiverse Project.

Editorial Assistant: Alison Gray


Alison is a fiction writer and editor based near Glasgow. She is copyeditor for Lumpen: A Journal for Poor and Working-Class Writers, the recipient of a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award (2014) and was long-listed for Penguin’s WriteNow Programme in 2020. Her work has been published in The Guardian, Mslexia, Lumpen and Freak Circus.
